HOLD BASE—a flexible, liquid-consistency base coat with a new, improved TPO-FREE formula that is ideal as a base for any coating, especially for gel systems. It also works wonderfully for pedicures.

The base coat has excellent adhesion to the nail plate, so in most cases, a primer is not necessary. Due to its pH of 4–5, the base coat is not used as a leveling layer. Its liquid consistency allows for easy and even coverage of the nail, smoothing out imperfections before applying gel or another base coat.

Application instructions:

 1. Perform standard nail plate preparation:

 • Lightly file with a 240-grit file or buff;

 • degreasing;

 • application of dehydrator;

 • primer/ultra-bond (acid-free), if the nails are prone to high humidity. Apply with a semi-dry brush.

 2. Apply HOLD BASE in a thin, even layer, thoroughly covering the entire nail surface (this prevents hard materials from lifting).

 3. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

 4. It is recommended to remove the sticky layer before applying the next coat.

Hello! I really love the consistency — it's very comfortable to work with. The color palette is more than sufficient, and the wearability and hardness of the material are ideal for nail strengthening and extensions.

I'd love to see more colors for the builder gel, and more gels with fine shimmer. Most design gels tend to have a liquid texture, which makes working with long nails a bit more challenging — but this isn't an issue exclusive to these brands.

I tried Edlen for the first time after my previous order — I got the glitter version ✨, and honestly, it's a gel that stays on literally any nail. Not a single lift over 4 weeks of wear, so this time I decided to also get the regular version without glitter.

The packaging is beautiful and makes a wonderful impression on clients — a huge plus 👍 The consistency is slightly thick for me, but I suspect that's because of the glitter — these kinds of gels are always denser, so it's not a problem for me.

What impressed me most was the wearability 💅 — that was the first and most important thing I noticed. I was nervous because I don't like experimenting with new products, but in this case I haven't regretted for a second adding Edlen gels to my collection.

In my opinion, the price fully matches the quality 💯 As for the palette — I'm just starting to expand it, so I can't say much yet.
