Luna Premium gel 25
Premium Classic Gel for Nail Extensions is a polymer light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength.
Features:
• Acid-free.
• It is shock-absorbent and does not crack upon impact.
• It has a medium consistency.
• It has medium pigmentation and covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the “no-file extension” technique.
• Suitable for extensions applied “over tips.”
• Does not cause a burning sensation under the lamp.
• Thickens in cold temperatures and thins in warm temperatures.
• Thixotropic—thins out when stirred with a brush during application.
• It can be reheated to make the gel thinner.
• Hard when 1 mm thick. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may flex slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and maintains the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base coat.
• Polymerization wavelength: 365–405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48 W.
• Permissible coating thickness: 0.5 mm at the end/1 mm at the apex.
• Full curing takes 120 seconds.
CLASSIC NAIL EXTENSIONS
1. Removal
2. Trim the nail length to 1 mm and shape it into a round shape.
3. File the top of the nail gently with a 220-grit file, lifting the flakes of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash your hands with soap after handling them.
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Repeat this process twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: Take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the entire cuticle area and nail grooves.
7. Use the LUNAmoon primer.
8. It’s best to apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush. Use a rubbing motion. Cover all the nail grooves and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. Wipe off the tacky layer.
10. Place the nail form on the free edge of the nail.
11. Fill the artificial nail form with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
12. File the free edge and shape the nail as desired.
13. Wipe away the tacky layer and excess dust.
14. Apply another coat of LUNAmoon Rubber Base to the areas where you filed. Cure for 30 seconds.
15. Smooth the gel, place the nail under the lamp, and press down at the 10–15-second mark. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, press down at the 20-second mark.
16. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
17. Wipe off the tacky layer before applying the gel polish.
18. Apply a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the nails after curing, as this may cause the shine to fade.
