YOUARECUTE Builder gel 2 (15ml)

Builder Gel – a polymeric light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process when the material is exposed to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.

• It is shock-absorbing and does not crack upon impact.

• It has a medium consistency.

• It has medium pigmentation and covers the free edge.

• Suitable for the “no-file extension” technique.

• Suitable for extensions using “top forms.”

• Does not cause a burning sensation under the lamp.

• Thickens in cold temperatures and thins in warm temperatures.

• Thixotropic—thins out when stirred with a brush during application.

• It can be heated further to make the gel thinner.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

• Removal.

• Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.

• File the top of the nail with a 220-grit file without applying too much pressure, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.

• Perform the manicure.

• If using removers, wash your hands with soap after use.

• Degrease the nail using Nail Prep. Perform this in two steps. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for every 5 fingers). First step: Wipe the surface of the nail. Second pass: Take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the entire cuticle area and the nail folds.

• Use a primer if desired, but if the base coat has sufficient acidity, it is not necessary.

• It’s best to apply the Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use a rubbing motion. Fill in all the nail grooves and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

• We recommend not removing the tack layer from the base coat, as it helps ensure chemical bonding with subsequent layers (gel, color, top coat). Removing the tacky layer weakens the chemical adhesion and increases the risk of lifting.

• Smooth the surface. If smoothing with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.

• File the nail after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.

• If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file away 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. This will prevent the material from lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will begin to separate from the hard material at the free edge.

• After filing, remove the tacky layer and apply gel polish.

• Apply a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the nails with anything after curing, as this may cause the shine to fade.

CLASSIC EXTENSIONS

• Removal

• Trim the nail length to 1 mm and shape it into a round shape.

• File the top of the nail gently with a 220-grit file, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buff.

• Perform a manicure.

• If using removers, wash your hands with soap after use.

• Degrease the nail using Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the entire cuticle area and nail grooves.

• Apply the primer.

• It’s best to apply the Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use a rubbing motion. Cover all the nail grooves and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

• We recommend not removing the tacky layer from the base, as it helps the subsequent layers (gel, color, base) bond chemically. Removing the tacky layer weakens the chemical bond and increases the risk of peeling.

• Apply the nail form to the free edge of the nail.

• Apply a layer of clear gel to the artificial nail form. Cure for 30 seconds.

• File the edge and shape the nail as desired.

• Wipe away the tackiness and excess dust.

• Apply another coat of Rubber Base to the areas where the file was used. Cure for 30 seconds.

• Smooth out the gel, place the nail in the lamp, and press it down at the 10–15-second mark. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, press it down at the 20-second mark.

• Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.

• Wipe off the tacky layer before applying the gel polish.

• Apply a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the nails after curing, as this may cause the shine to fade.

Hello! I really love the consistency — it's very comfortable to work with. The color palette is more than sufficient, and the wearability and hardness of the material are ideal for nail strengthening and extensions.

I'd love to see more colors for the builder gel, and more gels with fine shimmer. Most design gels tend to have a liquid texture, which makes working with long nails a bit more challenging — but this isn't an issue exclusive to these brands.

Good evening! I sincerely thank you for my order 🙏 As always, everything is top-notch and delivered super fast ⚡

I tried Edlen for the first time after my previous order — I got the glitter version ✨, and honestly, it's a gel that stays on literally any nail. Not a single lift over 4 weeks of wear, so this time I decided to also get the regular version without glitter.

The packaging is beautiful and makes a wonderful impression on clients — a huge plus 👍 The consistency is slightly thick for me, but I suspect that's because of the glitter — these kinds of gels are always denser, so it's not a problem for me.

What impressed me most was the wearability 💅 — that was the first and most important thing I noticed. I was nervous because I don't like experimenting with new products, but in this case I haven't regretted for a second adding Edlen gels to my collection.

In my opinion, the price fully matches the quality 💯 As for the palette — I'm just starting to expand it, so I can't say much yet.

Thank you again for the service and quality! 🌸

Hello! Regarding Heylove — I really love the top coat, smart gel, and of course the colors are lovely and easy to work with 😊 But most of all I love the Builder Gel TOUCH — that's a real treasure! 💎 Quick and easy to use, a beautiful nude palette, and I get so many compliments from clients about the colors 🥰

I would love to see a cat eye option added 👁️ — I haven't come across one that really caught my eye. Thank you!
